Erica Stella is a Brooklyn street art photographer, yogi, Editor of Sold Magazine, and home organizer. The daughter of a wedding photographer in Upstate NY; her childhood and adolescence were immersed in ballet training, stage performance, modern dance and the study of movement through space. While her father worked in his darkroom in the family's basement, she learned from a young age about photo processing, developing and printing preceding the digital age.
She moved to NYC, received her BFA from Marymount Manhattan College in Dance Performance/Choreography in 2000. She studied the two art forms; writing her senior thesis on "dance photography", capturing a photographic moment in time, from a trained dancer's perspective.
With a background in composition of space, a traditional photography upbringing, and instinct to bring beauty to life - she brings that energy to every project. As she shares her street art photography and stories on Sold Magazine, and explores her ideas on StellaBella; she lives and loves life in Brooklyn with her boyfriend Big Ronnie.
